Zoe Stojadinovic (she/her)

Zoe McKenzie is a physiotherapist, Pilates instructor and exercise coach with a special interest in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, dysautonomia, chronic pain and complex, energy-limiting conditions.

Her passion for physiotherapy began at the age of 13, following an ankle injury and her own experience of rehabilitation. She graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia in 2013.

Zoe has undertaken further education in chronic pain and complex health conditions, participates in EDS ECHO programmes, and regularly attends conferences relating to EDS, POTS and ME/CFS to stay connected with current research and clinical practice.

Since that first injury, Zoe’s own health journey has included an Ehlers-Danlos syndrome diagnosis and navigating related conditions. This has given her first-hand experience of living with complex health conditions and an understanding of the difference that appropriate, informed and compassionate care can make.

Her approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, recognising that rehabilitation needs to be adapted to each individual’s symptoms, capacity, and circumstances. She is passionate about helping people move away from an all-or-nothing approach to exercise and find movement that feels manageable, meaningful and supportive.

Alongside her clinical work, Zoe has run an online movement and education platform supporting people living with chronic illness. She is also a trained APPI Pilates instructor and the author of Exercise Well with Autoimmunity, published in 2024. Zoe enjoys spending time with her family, doing Pilates and swimming when she can, and making time for a good nap.
